i have been messaging replies from an ad on Craigslist personals for a female contact for a week and despite lots of replies it always leads to a dead end .the end result is tons of nude pics pleading with me to go to a verification site.. despite me putting in the advert i dont do verification sites..they take no notice and keep sending me porny pictures which is all very well but its a total waste of time.

CL ask for a mobile number now but its still ad bad as ever for scammers and the messages appear to be BOT generated as the women never answer any questions .like what is their postcode or mobile number so i can setup a meet..but they insist i need to go to a verification site as theyre worried about meeting crazy people
i am in the UK so i dont know if its like this on all their global CL forums around the world .

the endless nude pics are very desperate to get me to these verification sites but not going there

the scam bait continues to roll into my email account showing porny photos to get me to sign in at verification sites,so far contacts are 100% scammers and not 1 genuine respondent..total waste of time

the idea is to get hold of my card details and personal details to plunder my bank account

In response to the 52 y.o. guy's message above, have had a heck of a time with third world based spambots from Craigslist Personals trying to rope-a-dope me into this age verification con, all I can say is after having been on Craigslist for a week and a half, I've had anywhere from 30-50 of these kind of bogus verification sites pushed at me, and every one of them are scams, it is also long since proven by security experts that a credit card doesn't verify anything in terms of majority age status or a clean criminal history. Just thought you should know.

probably just stolen photos and they dont know their photos are being used i would suspect

i am still getting piles of spam after the weeks ago when i sent off the advert ..spammers are very persistent..and never let you go from their clutches .i may have to close the email account to get rid of them

the scamming emails now contain > card number details which must be stolen or fake< to get you to go to their verification site.. i suspect this is to get you to download their photos to plant phishing software on your system..

dunno why CL allowed scammers to take total control of their business ...its riddled with scammers from top to bottom.. in every sub forum not just personals
