Datehookup.com DID go off-line on May 5, 2018.
Whether the site's owner took the site down remains a mystery.
There WAS administration on the site; however, their identity was not known
to the general members.
The site may have been hacked, due to all the vulgar posts and obsecene traffic which administration could not get a grip on to control; perhaps admin took Dayehookup. up down to rid the site of the myrid amount of alternate (fake profile/same member). If this is the case, and DH is refurbishing the sites coding, etc. members can look forward to a new, modernized sites coming online soon.
Several of the senior DH members have started sites of their own, but are merely social communities, not dating dites
Several of these new start-ups have already failed as the administrator(s) are experiencing difficulties in coding all the sites on such short and are finding it difficult to attract users to their site, attempting to maintain all activity on the site by them selves, are too strict in suspending banning members without notice over minor infractions (if there rules which denote what infractions may be).
Administrators on the DH site worked diligently to identify and remove sorry offenders. Members who do police their own behavior cannot wish for one person to correct all the bad things which can occur in an online envirenment.
DH was a well-loved sites and had the membership worked together, instead of separate factions, DH may well be in an active status today.
Beware of all the new sites which activated when DH went down; many of them may be scamming and trolling sites.
Thank you, Dustin, for providing a place for the general public to socialize. It is, indeed a shame that the "others" ruined a great community.
