Hello,

Just discovered this forum and I am looking to get into online dating. All I have ever tried before is Tinder . Don't get me wrong it was fun but I am ready to get serious. I am a 29 year old male living in California looking for a long term relationship, not just a fling, which Tinder was great for . Wondering if anybody has advice on what dating site to use for my paticular situation in terms of my age, location, what I am looking for, etc?

Please let me know if you require any additional information from me to make the best recommendation.

I usually don't use dating sites, maybe a few times. Good friend of mine is that type of guy.
For example he's using Tinder and Party line all the time for meeting new girls.
And if you ask me he is a very happy guy. Cheers!

Thanks for the advice. I have had fun with Tinder as well but I am looking for something that has people looking for a more serious relationship. It seems most people on Tinder are just looking for a good time which is fine, but I'm ready for something else.

I have never heard of PartyLine, but from the sound of it, I would assume it is similar to Tinder in terms of the type of people on it and what they are looking for.

I was doing some research today and it seems people are a little more serious on sites such as eHarmony and Match. Maybe because you have to put a little skin into the game (i.e. money) people are a little more dedicated.

Always looking for other suggestions or if you know anything about these two, please share. I would be most appreciative . The sooner the better as I would like to get going on one ASAP!
