I assume that people are reading and posting because most have been mislead or ripped of by the Internnet dating sites.
While I might expect this from small ones, the large ones like match.com with which I have had espcerience with but no luck finding a date after joing 2 months ago and not one interested reply.
My ad is under kimbell and I have includeed a photo on match.com.
It is neither positive or megative-just what an average guy might have to offer.
I still have all my teeth and hair and I still look good for someone who will be 50 in october.
And the photo is me but a couple of years odr but I don't have a lot of photos of myself lying around and I like this one and still look the same.
So I thing aver readingsome of the guys' profiles and looking at their photos to carpare mine, I stack up fine.
And I know its a numbers game and more men than women join.
But I am a Personal ad veteran when people used to send letters visa the mail and I had terrific success and no photo posted in my ad since it was not allowed in the alternative paper that ran the ads.
But the Internet sites are not intersted in anything but money.
So instead of meekly canceling an ad and getting creti like I accepted from match.com (liong story why I accepted the credit ), ifi I ever join another internet site and they are a ripoff, I will DISPUTE the charge for the membership fee within one month. You generally have 60 days to dispute a charge.
I will never accept a credit again. The deal with match.com was more of a gift so I did not pay for it.
But I know people on this site have spent a lot of money and dating is the most expensive legal activity that I know of.
The women always expect you to pick up the tab even if they know they will never see you again-which I think is dishonest amoung other things.
A few honest ones will pay their share on a first date but that is rare.
And a lot are women who go one dates for their enteratianemtn and let the guy pay so they can spend their money for clothes, rent, etc.
We guys have the same expenses.
So drive the bad internet sites out of business by disputing the charge not just cancelling your menbership and accepting a credit for the remaining time on your membership
And if the credit card comapny won't go to bat for you, then jsut don't pay the charge and return the card.
If the card company is that weak, do you think they will help you with a big issue?
And they will not sue over a few dollars or black list your credit .
But what it will do is eleiminate the money these vampire internet dating sites get and hopefully drive them out of business.
There are too many anyway and for internet dating to be effective, there should only be a very few ones with a lot of members and not tons of fly by night ones with threee women and a hundred guys.
