I've seen lots of comments here about the impossibility of dating, sex, or finding anyone if a guy is 55yo. I've been alone and tried EVERY venue and idea for 30yrs with zero luck. And now in 2018 the chances of getting together with anyone is LESS than zero. Age discrimination is the biggest thing now, next is "member" size. Women today are disgusting and demanding, only wanting "young & hung". Meaning under 35 and 8, 10, to who knows how much, the skys the limit. Its absolutely, totally pathetic!!! Seen it get worse as time goes on. OH!!!, btw, they want you to be ""GENOROUS"" with a pocketful of Benjiman Franklins, especially if they see your over 45/50yo. NONE OF THE SITES WORK. WOMEN ONLY PLAY "20 questions" with you. Get 1 wrong and you're screwed. Watch out for those credit card sites , don't do them at all. And those "verify" sites?? OMG!! What a load of crap!! I thought I'd add my 2 cents to this forum as well.

I was on BDSMScotland's site - unfortunately paid for a months subscription so I could message some women. The women that did speak to me, gave me their gmail address so we could speak on Hangouts, which I thought it was going well. Then 1 asked for a 'dating id' that I had to pay for, which is when the bells started to ring. She wanted to meet up that night, but needed a dating id. I gave that a miss at that point, wondering if I had made a mistake.
Started speaking to someone else on the site, which took us to Hangouts and she said the EXACT same words as the 1st person, like they copied and pasted paragraphs. I ended up finding out that the pix they were using were from some cam sites. *sigh*

I've also been on EliteAdults and you have to pay per message by buying a bundle of 'coins' to message others. I've had some nice chats and spent a little too much, but now I don't trust the site, since I can't tell if people are real or not. No one wants to leave the site and stop buying the coins and move over to email. There doesn't seem to be any search that brings up others talking about the site, which makes me wonder how so many people found it.

So I'm back to square one. In the middle of a divorce and wanting to take my mind off things by speaking to the opposite sex who are fun to talk to and maybe take it further.

Well if theres that much money in it then men and women by the boatload must be signing up for sex or there wouldnt be any worthwhile reason to do it. So if people are signing up for sex then it stands to reason that that some people will be doing just that.

Absolutely not. I have tried dozens, latterly just for the entertainment value, and have yet to find a legit site. A huge majority of profiles are fake and, if you look closely, the same photos but using slightly different names are scattered throughout these sites. On one occasion I found the same photo under six different names in six different locations between Cornwall and Aberdeen. The sites where you buy credits to send messages are the biggest scam. The women are never quite ready to hook up and ask to continue using the paid for messages until they are more comfortable about meeting up, which is never. As other people have said, just go to a busy bar or engage the services of a hooker.

XMeeting for one is a scam! They take your money and you never hear from one soul. All you get are messages saying that someone likes you and wants to meet you but they NEVER reply after you message them. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Don't do business with XMeeting!
