From my experience, Match worked. I met a lovely girlfriend there.

A friend of mine met her husband on eharmony, but I have no experience of that site personally.

AFF appear to sponsor a number of review sites that claim all of the other sites are scams. Suspicious - I think we should be.

When I was actively looking, which was over 10 years ago now, there were a few other sites.

Midsummerseve.com worked. I believe that it is 100% free, so there are probably quite a number of scam profiles. I met a couple of nice girls there.

If you want a bit of fun with a site that uses bots, try spdate.com For some conversations their bot can be quite convincing. They also can be persuaded to talk dirty. Quite bizarre really.

Another site that might be reasonable is Illicitencounters.co.uk It is a fully paid for site, and I do not have experience of it, but it has a better feel than others.

Above all apply caution. I heard somewhere that there are over 30,000 adult dating sites. There are certainly loads of duplicate ones with the same owners. They often have the same profiles. As they say caviat emptor.... let the buyer beware!!

Tinder, I have legit, hooked up through Tinder numerous times. I'm just an average looking guy nothing special. Some of the girls looked nice, some were just fair looking, but all wanted to hookup. I'm 73, and have posted a desired age range of 55-74, which is COMPLETELY IGNORED on various sites, including POF and Millionairematch. Do I get contacts of that age? Hell no, I'm messaged by women in their 30's and '40's! I never COULD figure out how women think!

Here's a tip I learned on the net; Don't use your regular credit or debit card on a questionable site, which would be any site you haven't had experience with. Instead, get a non-refillable gift card for a specific denomination, such as $50, and sign on for the minimum term. If that's just a few bucks for 3 days or whatever, use the card at another site, in order to pretty well use it up. They'll get a big surprise when they go and try to re-bill it if you don't want their service to continue.

Having done extensive 'research' over the past five years, my conclusion is, sadly, don't waste your time. Firms like Bonefish and similar ilk will have multiple 'affiliates'. You 'sign up' to these affiliates, unbeknown to you. Most 'women' if they are actually real will be some old maid in a Knitting Circle getting paid to read from a crib sheet. I could list numerous 'local' women where 'local' means Europe or USA. Bonefish tried the 'take small amounts from his account. He won't notice" I challenged them and got verbal diarrhea in response. Did a 'chargeback'. They did NOT like that. I'm housebound so normal dating methods are not an option. I'm open to be proved wrong but I won't hold my breath
