Sexsearch.com attracted me, initially, because it had lots of traffic and was cheaper than other sites. Also, you can buy a trial period, so you don't have to drop 20 or 30 bucks on a month to see if you like it. When it comes to price, they are probably the cheapest, but know this: If you cancel your trial, they will keep offering you 1 time offers for cheaper and cheaper deals. If you sign up for the standard 29.95, or whatever it is, you're getting the bad end of a deal. I was offered as low as 17 cents a day; that's 60 bucks a year!
My 3 day trial experience.
The firs thing I noticed about the site, is what a lot of other have been saying. I was receiving emails from false profiles saying they were interested. After removing my pictures and profile description, I still received these emails. Why would anyone want to meet a blank profile? I can only surmise that this site is trying to boost it's sales by generating false interest in their new members.
The second thing I noticed about this site was the faulty email system. Every time I send emails to another member, they aren't received until hours later. This is quite different than what I am use to with other social sites. Not only did my emails take large amounts of time to be delivered, parts of the email function didn't work. For instance, it keeps track of every email you receive, but you cannot look at the emails you have sent. This is somewhat frustrating. It's terribly long and drawn out process of contacting and hooking up with other members.
The most effective, and only way to communicate, on sexsearch.com is personal chat. Even this feature is not without it's downfalls. To get the service to function, you need to turn off your pop-up blocker. This isn't so bad, but often, other members have this feature disabled or their pop-up blockers turned on. It seems that a lot of women turn this feature off due to the amount of attention they get from male users. As with other adult site, the guy to girl ratio is really disproportionate. Within minutes of enabling my chat feature, I was bombarded with messages from people without pictures trying to promote webcams on other sites. They were trying to get me to sign up for their site or vote for their off-site model profile. Either way, I was getting propositioned to sign up on another site to view meaningless webcams.
Another hardship with getting in touch with other users is location. This is completely relative to where you live, but most of the members I connected with were between 1 and 4 hours away. Just make sure you live in an urban area.
On a side note, epoch.com, an affiliate of Sexsearch, is actually really speedy with customer service. If you go to their main page or use their "live chat" function, you usually get what you need the same day. I was less than impressed with the email question/answer service provided in the sexsearch.com page. If you ask them tough question, they dance around the issue. I asked them about receiving a deal that was offered to me through the sexsearch.com redirects off their main page. They continued to give me a half-answer my question by directing me to their standard sign up page. This went on for 3 emails, I got the same response.
Aside from all the crap you have to put up with, their are real women on this site (Although, it's sometimes hard to discern the real from the fake). Just make sure they have more than one picture, and they don't talk like their using scripted text. I've found that everyone that responds to my emails is an actual person. I have met 3 women off this site, but keep in mind, your success rate is going to depend on a lot of variations--where you live, how attractive you are, and how well you present yourself.
To conclude, I would not recommend this site to anyone. You have much better odds picking up women off the web. This social site sounds like a great idea, but it's rewards are lacking. You're going to spend way more time and effort than you initially intended, to meet a narrowed selection of individuals. It's a lot easier to screen people and communicate in the real world, and you'll probably have a lot more success.
I hope this post helped clear some issues with other readers. Sorry it was so lengthy.
