I agree ....another scam. Elite Singles is Lifemates reinvention. Same company, different name. BEWARE!!! I paid big money for a lifetime membership. Six dates in four years ... they matched me with the opposite of what I explained in detail my ideal date would be.
They don't answer the phone. If you are lucky enough to leave a message, they don't respond. Their mailbox is full. It's a scam!!! Stay far away!!!

I tested it for 24 hours and their system simply won't give you the choice of "cancellation."
They posted instructions for initial cancellation within 3 days. I followed and hit upon a system block which doesn't allow for any cancellation.
It is a scam.
I called my credit card bank anyway.

I started reading these reviews to get a sense of how people have found the site. I'm quite shocked as having read the T&C's re cancellation I am not expecting any issues but clearly will find out. I haven't had any issues chatting to people and have exchanged mobiles to talk and had several dates...so I think there is hope out there. That said I'm sure all dating site have their issues and if we weren't all so busy we may chose not to use technology to try and find each other and second question if the 'human' at the other end is real...

dont be scared of empty threats over small amounts of money ,they havent delivered on what you paid for ..
its all BS over debt collection agencies as you never gave your address to them..

Wish I had read all these reviews before completing the long-winded application, which must have taken two hours. Fortunately, at least I read the reviews before providing my credit card info.
I'd be curious to know if they do anything with my data other than junk it for non-payment.
They did preview some "matches" for me but (with the greatest respect to the ladies involved) I find it hard to see how I, a writer, would have much in common with people who work in accounts departments.
Also, it's a fallacy to assume that education equates with knowledge and intelligence, and the site makes no effort to reflect this.

i very much doubt any date site will destroy personal details as they boast they have millions of profiles so its against their ethics to reduce their figures

Rich coming from a supposed intellectual who is anonymous! If you are so clever and educated how come you are able to comment on a dating site review? People need people no matter what their station in life, no amount of education or lack of it changes that! Hope you find your perfect match another snob!!

This is a terrible service. They call themselves 'Elite' but I have had better dating experiences with free apps like OKCupid. I logged off for a few months and when I logged back in, virtually the same men were on the site, which indicated that they didn't have a very high success rate in terms of matching people, despite the hoopla about 'matching' people. They now bill themselves as an escort service, which is not what I signed up to. Despite saying that you can cancel your renewal at any time up to 14 days of it being renewed, they did not honour this, and I have now had to hand it over to my bank to deal with. Save yourself the time and hassle as this is nothing other than an elite rip-off. If I could give it no stars I would. I'm also glad I've handed it over to my bank, and I suggest others do the same. This site should be run out of business.

Oh my god, I am fuming !!!!! Totally got ripped off by elite singles. They just took €227 out of my account without notifying me after 6 months. I’m so angry . Can anyone help me....how did you go about getting off that awful website for good and getting your money back . 😢 people need to know they are a huge scam!
