Hi Everyone, I too am getting these form letters. I was not even aware that I had subscribed to their 'service'! So I did a bit of research on the supposed law firm Auer Witte Thiel. My conclusion is it is mob of scammers, or maybe just one scammer. The firm is listed at an address in a London backstreet, which turns out to be an old run-down school, originally George the Martyr School, but now the Jeff Wooler College, but mysteriously, the law firm's supposed members are all in Germany. And who is Jeff Wooler? According to a BBC investigation he is "A chartered accountant exposed by BBC London for his role in an international bogus education scam has been struck off by his professional body." I rest my case.

I too have experienced fraud with Academic Singles under the bE2 scam. I signed up to a one off payment of £6.99 and they took £191.72 through PayPal. Despite ticking the box in PayPal that authorised my card, the money actually went out of my PayPal funds account, which was my income clients. PayPal are claiming that they're not at fault for allowing the company to use them to steal the money. I'm now in a battle with PayPal to get my money back. Unbelievable.
I wrote to Academic Singles and they immediately blocked me from the account. No surprises there then.

I've realised the only way to stop them getting anymore money is to close my PayPal account completely and have my bank card reissued. I'm never touching PayPal again after this, as it's their fault they're facilitating it.

How is this scam still occurring! Two years later, and this con artist is still operating under new aliases Secret Benefits and Date4Friends?

The faxnumber is from Romania,Bucharest.
Of course there is no romanian address to find. The one in Luxembourg probably is just a mailbox.
Anyone should try to make complaints directly to romanian authorities for organised crime DIICOT and also try to contact romanian press and TV.If someone did and got an adress through the complaint can post the address of this company here...I am sure in the world will be a person who cares for them...

I've also fallen into the same trap. I'm meeting a lawyer on Monday. There i'm gonna fill out a form and send it via a letter. I'm going to recieve a letter of confirmation of delivery form the post office. I haven't lost any money since i used a burner (luckily). Im prepared for more threatening emails that i can print out and keep for evidence.

GET LEGAL HELP, ASK A LAWER

If they want to settle in court (they won't cuz they're a sham) the court itself will send you a letter. They cannot collect any money unless they got a court order to do so

I foolishly joined this website last Wednesday. I thought I was signing a 24 month contract with MONTHLY payments of €19.99, whereas they took 1 lump payment of €180. I immediately emailed them & have done so several times since. No reply!!! I cancelled my Bank card so at least they can't take any more money. Does anyone know if my Bank can recall the payment of €179.76? If so, is it worth it, seeing as they will probably start sending me Solicitors letters.
Cool Cool
I will send several emails to cancel any future membership. Any more advice? Thanks

I suggest to read term and conditions how to cancel it. They have written term which these scammers obey anyway. Usually its very ancient way ot cancelation- using a fax machine. But dont worry there are a lot online fax applications for couple of euros can send it .

I have received a formal letter and an email from these shysters, which I have referred to the Australian Federal Police. In this case they represent sugardaddies and Date4friend, neither of which Organizations I have subscribed to. I don't know how they got my details, but I suspect it is through a nebulous collection of various related sites, not all of which offer the same 'product'. I don't know how to respond to them, so I won't.
