Wow the whole reason im here is for those who come after me and read this. i have to admit im dreadfully pessimistic about these sites ive hit two signed up did the whole deal.. and there are so many fake profiles its amazin sure i think you could find a hundred overweight housewives and what not but the guy ahead of me is right on.. 18-30 pretty difficult i read on another board a gentlemen who said using aff or adult friend finder he had to send roughly 176 emails to get one date thats probably pretty close to the truth. go ahead but realize if its to good to be true it prolly is thats a good rule of thumb with these sites, im pretty much done with um theyre riduculous, i mean like the dude said somebody will send you some mail ie, a wink or a email suggestive and flirtacious so what do you do well if your a male you bite, then they send a return mail half the time it bears no resemblance to the original email or the other half itll have you thinkin some hot 19 year old wants to ride you like a cowboy and will include some attached pictures which lead you to another paying site absolutely terrible. i for one can say adult friend finder is a joke as well as true.com blow your money on something else boys...

with your internet dating experience.

Mine , as well as most I have read that are males looking for a woman is negative stuff.

I don't think guys expect a super model and most guys could not afford or in reality, want one. A high maintenance woman is like a high maintenance car-expensive and demanding all the time and you are always left in a state wree you feel inadequate for various reasons (at least with a high maintenance woman).

If she is truly gorgeous, you can expect guys hitting on her all the time at the very least.

I've always relied on internet dating to get myself a date. Its just that finding dates on the net is easier than having to ask women to go out face to face. On the net, when your rejected, it really doesn't hurt as much as when its done in your face. When I go out with the one I met on the dating site, I am also assured that they are also interested in me as much as I am in them, so there is this feeling of security with yourself.

Anyway, about the webscam thing. I'm sure ya'll would think that after all that I've said, that I am in favor of these web dating sites. Well, yes I am but I should also be a witness to the numerous scams on the internet. A lot of sites have these phony users. Right now I'm at webdate.com. No problems so far. Big Grin Just be careful when you are trying to meet up with someone. Make sure you are actually talking to a human, not a robot.

I agree. By joining or starting a local singles group online, you're much more likely to meet someone and keep out the spammers.
It has been my experience that not only are online dating services scams, but most of the features on their sites don't even work.

There are several hundred internet dating websites available, and it is always a difficult choice to pick the best among them.

However my friend tried dating on some of the online websites and she was quite lucky to get a handsome guy 8)

why doesnt anyone post the sites that they've had success at? Nice replies to argue the issue but NO proof. Is there a LEGIT site out there, or are they really a bunch of scams. I've tried Fling.com and with horrible results, i disowned them, and i'm now a little sad to find out it's way to hard to find someone online. I guess I'll have to resort to the usual way: Go out and meet them.

Thank you Anonymous!!! Fling.com is a SCAM!!! It's primary design is to entice lonely guys such as myself to find "local" hot women. They are all models trying to get you to buy time with them. All the IM's I got were models trying to get my credit card number, or to go to their "free" site to "chat", when all it really was, was a ploy to buy into their other site. When I got suspicious, I checked every single profile within a hundred miles of my location, ( it took quite some time.) Some of the profiles were actual repeats with different names, ages, locations, AND some (a lot) of profiles that said they were on "today" were shown later as "over 2 months" and such. FLING.COM IS A SCAM!!!!! DO NOT BUY THE 7 DAY TRIAL PERIOD BECAUSE IT WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME, AND ONLY FRUSTRATE YOU THAT MUCH MORE!!!!!!

I gotta say, internet dating sites make me feel lonlier than ever. I've been single a very long time, over a decade, and I've been lonely from time to time - but since going on dating sites its gone to a whole new level. Never felt quite the same way having gone to a bar or club and striking out. WHy is that?

You just have to be careful very careful. There are lots of money in dating business. But anyway most girls from Russia and FSU look for better life outside their countries and we just have to find those who really honest which is not that simple. I use several sites and write about 10 girls, hope at least one of them comes out honest. And this http://forum.fiance.com is really very helpful forum. Good luck in your searches guys!
