PO is free. there is a site out there that is POF us which is not the real POF I had to turn them into paypal. to get refunded POF is just POF.com and not sure if upgrading does much.

Did anyone who replied actually upgrade or not? it seems to me, that is not the case!

I have been performing tests on POF for a few weeks.

results that i have found are:

this is for the men having problems. (that really want a relationship)

most women are picky with whom they will give their time to, especially on meeting a guy.

odds are you are texting wrong!!

Headline, make it important and interesting!

make your profile personal, different but be truthful, you don't want anything biteing you in the ass later on!
make yourself sound important and confidant! Interesting, mysterious.

be different, don't be the same guy they always talk to. go out of your comfort zone. try to RELATE to them!

first thing you need to do is find common ground.
if you are like most guys you post meaningless, shy 3-9 word introduction messages, and then follow up with, how is your day, what do you like....and so on.



You need to grab her attention, that way she will see your messages only, and frankly she could have 10 per minute on average, you want her to be interested in you alone, and she will be silent to all the others like I'm sure she is doing to you now.

step one: grab attention

step 2: make her smile,

Step 3: build a slight sexual tension...

say something that makes them think about you in an infatuating way. but nothing to strong. something like this, be creative:
“I don’t know who you’re boyfriend is…but he’s not spanking you enough!”. most girls will understand this is a joke! and that its playful but tasteful.

Step 4: Arrange a meetup, but in a casual way

" i think its time to put your money where your moth is!"

if upgrading puts you on the top of the list!
allows you to see when they are on!
allows you to see who wants to meet you!

id say that's all important!
you will fail!
you will get rejected,
And most of all you will get better each time!

90% more women basically attacked my profiles, that had i was wealthy, i was cocky, i am confident.
its shocking to hear but most women want a fling, and then want to decide if they want you for the long haul.
don't be surprised if you meet one and she wants to flirt or have you come over, when her profile clearly states the usual " i don't want a fling, not your thing on the side, i want something real" typical profile statement!

Anyone man or woman who says they get numerous hits per day is lying ,or fake or its the company inserting those comments. It does NOT happen!!!! Most sites free or not have an abundance of fake profiles. They can manipulate and censor your profile so that they can mess with any communication to keep you on the line and bait you...ha ha hence Plenty of Fish.

Probably....but it won't matter if you're using the wrong bait. You need to bring your 'A' game to your profile....chicks read and you better be able to hold their attention or it's onto someone else....in a hurry. Most women love a guy who can make them laugh so rather than say something like "I'm funny" why not try saying something that IS funny so they can get into your head a bit. Could be a good joke or something that actually happened to you at some point.....unlike your pictures, the stories you tell don't have to be recent. Take your time in creating a profile.....the more you put into it the more results you'll see.

Also it should be noted that (at least where I live) POF and likely most dating sites are 7:1 ratio men to women......you read that right......seven guys for every girl. Do you see why it's so important to stand out immediately? My first attempts were pretty lame as I look back but I got creative about 2 years ago and noticed a significant increase in responses. I just met someone new so I'm off now but I thought I'd pass along a couple of tips that have proved to work for me and definitely would work for you too (as long as you're not a douche, that is).

* Keep it fresh - update your main picture every few weeks.....sometimes it just takes a simple camera angle to catch their attention....have a friend take a good picture of you having fun doing something you like.

* Use humour in your writing - If you're funny she is more likely to overlook that you're maybe not what she envisioned as her next boyfriend but you need to know that Most women are nowhere near as superficial as guys when it comes to looks.

* Take a few days to write a really good profile about yourself and be bold in telling these gals what it is You are looking for in your mate as well. Be honest, up front and the mail you get will be solid....you do not want to waste your time on a pile of first meetings (I say this from experience) as they are very time consuming and sometimes can be quite expensive too.

There's much more but believe me this is going to give you a very good start....now get to your keyboards and write about yourself and please use spell check if you're not sure.....no girl wants a dummy.....just sayin'.

I did match.com about 6 years ago and met more women. I figured I more than likely will not see these women so I wrote 20 of them who appeared attractive. I have been on plenty of fish for a little over a week and heard back from one person. I am not a model by any means, but have played sports all of my life and have about 15% body fat and would consider myself somewhat attractive. I also have a 4 year degree and make decent money. Either these girls expect someone or something that does not exist or they need a reality check.
I am sorry no one is perfect and relationships take work from both parties. If you typically have someone with all the looks they are narcissistic or have other issues going on. I did match.com about 6 years ago and met more women. The first one, her photos had to be about 5 years old and over 100lbs lighter. The second was really pretty, but was still dealing with issues from her ex and the 3rd did not follow through with what she said. I think it is a risk no matter what, if you ask me.

not worth the upgrade. heres what you should do on pof: message people you're interested in from the nearby user list when they appear as"online". if there not online its less likely theyll see it or feel like responding. yes its random, no you wont get a lot of replies(1/10 is above avg. success rate) but if you do enough you will get a few.

I upgraded 3 weeks ago and can not tell a difference

never had any luck on POF the filters mean your messages will likely never get read and get binned unread .
i doubt if George Clooney could get laid on POF as the age filters would block him meeting a babe
