honestly i just got tired of feeling like every online space was designed to make you scroll rather than actually talk to anyone. fanfills is different in a way thats hard to explain until youre in it. the conversations actually go somewhere. ive had exchanges on here that i thought about for days afterward. not what i expected when i signed up, not even close.

i work odd hours, im not great at small talk, and most online spaces feel like theyre built for people who are already connected and just want more of the same. fanfills somehow works for people like me. the format slows things down enough that you can actually say something without it getting lost. i dont know who runs this thing but they figured something out.
