I am also 34 years old!

This shouldn't make a difference. My partner can see it but I cannot, and obviously Facebook know we are in a relationship together. (Netherlands here)

For those who can't find Facebook Dating here is the official page with instructions


How do I find Facebook Dating within the Facebook app?
If you're eligible to use Facebook Dating, you can access it using the steps below:

Log into the Facebook app on your mobile device.

Tap the Menu Icon (3 horizontal lines)

Tap Dating.

From there you can create a Dating profile. You can also access Dating by typing "Facebook Dating" into the search bar on your Facebook app and tapping the Facebook Dating shortcut.

Note: Dating is only available on the Facebook apps for Android and iPhone. You won't be able to access Dating on your computer.

The official Facebook Help Center also has a section on Facebook Dating

Under the section "Who can use Facebook Dating" it states:


You can access Dating from your current Facebook iPhone or Android app.

Facebook Dating is for adults 18+ who have a Facebook account in good standing. Dating isn't currently available to everyone.

You may be able to create a Dating profile if you live in one of the following countries and meet all other requirements to use Facebook Dating.
