I've been a member of Sexsearch.com for 5 years. I am female and my profile was totally honest.. I have not been very active lately to know one way or the other whether honesty has been the best policy. I will say, however, that I met one man from the site with whom I became fairly good firends and lovers for a while. The reason the relationship ended was because I moved away. I have met others but the chemistry wasn't there for me. Of course, as the site's name implies, it's primarily intended for sexual gratification, and is not supposed to be a "dating" service such as Match.com ~ not intended to be a vehicle to find one's soul mate. That is primarily why I have not been active lately. However, so as to discount the "scam" theory ~ I had positive experiences. I don't know what other weirdos out there are doing ~ but I was sincere in my intentions.

Any one interested in SexSearch.com would do themselves a favor and read the terms and conditions. Particularly section 14.

sex search is a joke amd a scam warning to everyone do not join,where is the humanity?

I was woundering if maby since all of us have been there,we all have the same thing on our minds assuming..... we do know what sexsearch.com is.well maby some of us gettin together.

Sexsearch is definitely a scam.

The canned responses, the dead end conversations, the identical wording of some of the emails, the invitations to porn sites, the FLOOD of spam.....

And generally, if anything is too good to be true, it probably is.

Which is more likely:

1. Sexsearch.com is a scam praying on lonely stupid people

or

2. Sexsearch.com is the fountain of free and easy sex partners you have been looking for all your life.

The answer is #1.

If I was buying an automobile, or a blender, or a vacation getaway, I would have researched reviews of the products. Why didn't I look for reviews on sexsearch.com. And what might they be doing with your email and other personal information?

And most of all, what made me think this ridiculous porn site was going to help me hook up with actual people ?

I've been on sexsearch for several months as a silver member and have gotten contacted by quite a few girls, and met 2 of them in person. they were exactly as their profile said.

However..there are quite a few camhost girls on there that simply want you to join their webcam.com site.

I have met many women at Sex Search, that I chat with often. Most women want to chat and get to know you, talk on the phone, before they meet. Of these, I have met 3 in person, though meeting women within a half hour of driving is difficult. It's like the bars, do you get laid every time you go? Don't expect to get laid just cause you signed up. Every dating site has few women and 10X the number of men. You need to put in some time, just like when you want a relationship with someone. I assume it is no different at the other sites. True though, there are a lot of bogus profiles, and "Cam Girls" just looking to snag you to "vote" for them, "register" at their site, get free webcam at their "site" etc, don't go there, unless you want to have your credit card number stolen and billed for more then you signed up for.

It's like most people said about SexSearch.com. IT'S FULL OF CRAP!!!! I remember being a gold member for a little more than a month. Before I really signed up, I received a lot of messages, but couldn't read them because I had to sign up. When I did, I was able to read them. However, I didn't get many messages when I signed up. Even though I sent messages to some females who replied to me once or twice, I recommend all of you who reads this and other reviews here or on other sites about SexSearch.com to NEVER SIGN UP FOR IT!! I never even gotten any messages to most girls that were even online at all! And the Payment thing is just B.S. Even though the price may satisfy you, You'll end up paying more than you want to. Just like someone said when he reviewed that FAKE dating site, "sex is overrated". You're better off going on EHARMONY. I don't know much about it, but it must be that good if it has made commercials. We also need people on YouTube, Myspace, and other sites like that to tell everyone that sites like SexSearch.com is a freakin' scam bent on taking your money with the least amount of satisfaction. If someone is reading this PLEASE FOR EVERYONE'S LOVE AND MONEY, warn everyone about the site and others related to it. Because I don't think that these reviews are catching people's attention as it should have.

Yes I could not agree more... I think sexsearch is a scam, i paid for a 1 month gold membership and have a few messages in the beginning from good looking women too, I notice how there most of there pictures nenver have a proper background and are sometimes a little blurry.. I mean come on, who takes pictures where there is not something going on behind them or are very clear, of course if your real your going to want to put your best picture up arent you?? Also there profiles and info is short and sweet!! Never do you get a real insight to those people at all, why coz they are fake just like when you reply to them they do not reply back.. sometime they do but again its only a one liner to string you along.. So I cancelled my subscription two days ago and all of a sudden I have 6 messages in my inbox, coincidence?? I think not!! They want my money again... Just to add im not an ugly guy and I know that if someone really wanted to talk to me the would say a bit more than a few lines.. so, for my 2 cents, i signed up as a basic member, went out and read all these fourms and what not, then i did my own little experiment. if you log off as a basic memeber and log back on right away, you instantly get 2 girls who want to msg you but none after that no matter how long you stay on, so as you all have said before, its defiantly a scam, cause i even tried to go thru the "online people" to find some of these screen names, not there. there might be some legit ppl on there, but its not worht it at all
