I paid a 3 months premium membership, each month is $70 dollars and I just got in two occasions matches available, there's no an option to search or look. it's just waiting until someone shows up with a like or viewed my profile. In addition, the money is not refundable.

TERRIBLE UX and matching system period.
The title "Elite" is so misleading. They do not seem to have any criteria to filter an "Elite" user base.
I want to change my name to my nickname, but according to FAQ this is not possible. My first name is unique and easy to Google... the setup instructions that stated that my first name would be private, but apparently it is in my Profile! (and I assumed we could choose a screen name later).
Also, there are no language filters. I was proposed matches that did not even have profiles in English.
Do not sign up.

I would say no. I got tired of having to weed through all the junk on Match so joined for 3 months. I was on Elite for two weeks and deleted my account...I would rather lose the rest of the money I spent on the membership, than continue. Online dating, whether is Match, E-harmony, etc all have the issues. My opinion, stay with the online dating sites that are more widely known.

Don't waste your money!! I wish I had read the reviews before I joined Elite Singles. Anything but Elite. I too would only receive one or two "matches" a day. Most of these profiles had no photos and were over a hundred miles away! My profile was rarely viewed, and many times it was viewed by someone clear across the country and not the type of person I was looking for. Remember, you have no control. You can't search or look up profiles. They also control who sees your profile. Customer Service is a joke. You cannot call anyone, emails are responded to days later from someone in another country. They are form answers that keep telling you how to use the website and "relax" your search criteria! This website is comparable to driving 200 miles away, putting a blindfold on and walking into a bar.

I signed on and after 20 minutes saw the same selections as other sites and cancelled. They are still billing me for the full original term.

ALERT!!! - DO NOT USE ELITE SINGLES PLEASE!

Same experience as most people except that mine was more awful! I joined for a month and was charged a whopping £99.95 - my fault. I believe all matches they sent were probably non-existent because no one ever responded to my smiles and messages. The only response I received was from a phoney individual who Elite later flagged up as fraudulent.

As if that wasn't enough, I meant to cancel my subscription on the last day. I frantically looked for how to cancel but could not find it on time. I eventually found it at about 2 mins past midnight but my credit card had been charged another £99.95.

I got my credit card company to retract the payment and I spoke to Elite about what had happened if they could waive he payment as a gesture of goodwill as I wasn't satisfied with their service anyway.
They refused and eventually took me o a credit collection agency.
I have grudgingly paid the money including £55 added on top of it.

Site is awful - not what they make it out to be. Other posts are right: looks like a scam, matches well out of range, cancellation is difficult.

Not sure what lead me to do a little research before pulling out my credit card, but I did and here I am. Leaving my card alone is the sensible thing. Thanks for knocking it into me I wish you all the best on your search.

It's absolutely awful!

I agree with the other reviewers here. I suspect many of the profiles are fakes.

The matches are mainly inappropriate and considering its marketed as 'elite' I'd say my matches were anything but!

Lots were too far away and bizarrely lot of men from rural Ireland...

I also got stung on the auto renewal. I have tried to challenge this, customer service are very rude and sarcastic. I tried to reclaim through PayPal however they said the vendor told them I had agreed to be billed indefinitely (!)

As if! Deleted my profile so I have been billed for 6 months for a service I am by using! They are only interested in your money...do not join!!!

I have reported to Trading Standards...I hope if enough people complain something will be done about this appalling company!
