Match.com = A very impressive site for the most part. Routine questions but gives you enough to work with and the opportunity to write a couple descriptive essays. Probably the most registered users of any site. The biggest problem I had with them is the posting of photos. I posted different photos with them over my year's time but at least four of the photos were rejected. They send you a generic note describing reasons why your photo would have been rejected. None of my four photos fit their rejection criteria nor could I get any answers by contacting administration. They would tell me to resubmit it. I would resubmit and then receive the same generic rejection note. I have been doing various types of photography for 10 years and I can tell you there were no reasons for my photos being rejected. They weren't lewd or out of focus or vague, etc. One must subscribe to reply or initiate messages. $24.95/month just like most of the others. I had a huge number of women (200+) matching my basic criteria. One lady contacted me, so I paid my registration fee so that I could respond. She never contacted me once I responded. Since I had paid, I sent several of my own messages to various women. None of them responded. I have periodically received messages from other women but these were opposite of my tastes on virtually all of my criteria or never posted a photo of themselves. I spent over a year with them and they claim "thousands added daily."

Matchdoctor.com = At first glance, they have many users but you'll quickly find 90% of them don't have photos. Good in that it's 100% free to do everything once you sign up. There is an unusually high number of women from Russia / Ukraine. Once more, all of these women have really great professional photos. I find it hard to believe that Russia and the Ukraine have a disproportionately high number of beautiful women and all of these "model-type" women are having a tough time finding a man. Popup ads are found here as well as ads for other dating sites! I used them for 2 months but their "445,676 active members" apparently weren't interested in me.

Friendfinder.com = Very little in the way of questions to let the other person know anything about you. Also, very few pictures that would inspire me to continue using their system (i.e. not the best looking women for the most part). I only logged on for about 6 weeks. Its boast of "10 million current members" seemed very high. You must be a member just to see profiles and photos though so just to try it you must sign up. The free membership allows you to browse a limited number of profiles and reply to one e-mail every day, not send but just reply. You cannot search by specifics unless you pay to upgrade. "Premium memberships offer more privileges and start at less than $2.00 per day (US)." This would be about $1.95 we can assume and a 30-day month would come to around $58. Giving them the benefit of the doubt we'll round down even more $45-$50/month. Still very expensive and it doesn't seem work it. No contact from anyone here either.

Udate.com = This seems to be run by and identical in most respects to kiss.com so I won't repeat myself.

Iwantu.com = They allow photos of seemingly anything so this site is mainly used for fetishists or people looking for one-night stands. I was only on for three weeks and didn't want to post my photo! "Where you are wanted" but apparently that doesn't apply to me since I didn't hear from anyone (nor did I really want to). Not sure of the cost to become a "V.I.P."
