I am replying to my n'th invitation to join this site.. I had hoped to contact members directly but, like all things godly, one has to pay earthly representatives first!!!

I am not just a practising atheist, I am an active anti-theist; in essence, this means that I hold all three of the major monotheastic religions in equal contempt. I have more sympathy than contempt for their adherents.

Why then are Christian Mingle repeatedly trying to solicit my membership, I would hardly be an asset to your dating community. "God will find my match, but the next move is up to me". The next move, of course, is to send money.! I guess these cynical, predatory folk work on the premise that if you are stupid enough to believe in divine matchmaking, you are also stupid enough to send them money.

From whence did they obtain my e-mail? Spyware, malware, junk database purchase? Either way, you subscribers paid for it. Not just through your subscriptions, but through the risk that by indiscriminate invitation for profit, genuine users can be exposed to the predatory and malicious designs of anybody who takes a free trial membership or pays a modest sum.

Atheist I may be, but I can quote freely from the Bible, the Koran or the Tanakh. This mindless profit driven website simply invites me to ingratiate myself and perhaps seek to gain advantage and trust from honest, unsuspecting people.who seek only love. It is profoundly wrong.
