Until he is subject to an indepent audit, I think he lies aobu his earnings
Reasons
1. If it was so much money to be made on a in a free date site, why does e Harmoney, natch,com, Chemistry (the BIG ones( go completely free and follow Mucus Finks' dating model?
2. He supposdely generates his money from adsense. And if you look at his site, it is mad up of NOTHING but advertising rrom PAID sites. Other words, GM, Nike etc doe not advertise on his site. And you would think this people would want to be on such a 'winning' site with such high traffic voume.
3. Fink is CHEAP. If he is indded making the money he say, why do his moderators work for FREE? It is cult like in theri devotion to him.
4. There are a LOT of MAerican progamers out of work and they are better than Fink. So why don't a few of them set up a date site along the liens of POF?
Seems taht according to Fink, he just picks money off the ground .
5. Type in plenty of fish sucks on google and you will see that few like the site . The kindest words i have seen are fat women, old men just looking of r a booty call.
I could go on but POF is NOT Walmarts which grew into the biggest retialer in the world but it took a large team of people and lots of money to expend. It was not one guy working in a hardware store (and yes I know that Sam Walton didd start that way but it did take a team of people and a large amount of cash to make it where it is today-dame with Bolckbuster which started with one store in Dallas, Texas. And a lot of it is luck)
the bottom line is that if it was so easy to make money by offereing a free date site no one really likes and probably the same number of members that loing have aobut and equal number of member leave so groth is probably netting aroudn 2 growth. People try the site, fding the scum of the earth on it and leave.
BTW. I have never seen an ad for POF advdertsing istelf. Maybe theri is something on U tube or witter but there are no national ad compaigns like the major paid sites.
And if they die out-so does POF's advertisers.
