Face it, if you have enough leadership skills to make a dog follow you, you can go to meetup.com and organize your own group! It costs $20/month, $48/3 mo, or $72/6 mo... a lot cheaper than some dating sites which give you nothing to show for your $$.
Don't worry about the features being too complicated. I'm pretty stupid as far as understanding computer languages goes... but managing my own meetup group is easier than being moderator of most boards (and you get the option of doing that too on Meetup)! Online dating is a dead duck!!!!!
Now, you can have the power to start the IRL group you've been wishing for! Stop wishing, start meeting!
