Match.com, matchmaker, and a feew others did have a few days of free trials that you did not have to give out a credit card and were free.

Now all sites offer 'free' trials but you have to give them your credit card infor. And according to what i have read, it is impossible not to get charged it you decide not to become a member.

When sites did have the truley free trials, I actually met women and I am still friends with one woman.

And I did meet several women that came and went (no pun).

But this was when online dating was just starting out and before it became a total scam.

The only popular dating site at the moment, that I know of, which offers a completely free trial with no credit card required is, ChristianCafe.com (see Review). Their trial is 10 days long.

I guess eHarmony would also sort of fall in this category since they have their free communication weekends (4 days long) about once a month. There is actually a free communication weekend on right now.

Christian Cafe does have a free preview and it is a great site. I met my boyfriend on there and things are going great so far. I recommend the site.
