I hate it when people say you must love their pets!
They don't tell you to love their family or kids?

Yes, well maybe if you end up living alone after you take care of a family member while they are dying, then you might understand how taking care of their animals can keep you from losing your mind.

Kids, family and lovers come and go. A pet is forever.
In the past 14 years I've had two wives. They are gone.
Still have the dog.
Could care less if you get along with my daughter. If you don't it is because you are both pains in the ass. Who isn't?
Don't get along with my dog and you are history. He's smart and can smell you are full of sh**t.
He was here before you came and will be after you are gone.
