I wish the internet would just die. It won't happen but it needs a LOT of regulating. And it has made people a bunch of loners. They say they have a Saturday night date-and it is with someone on line. Some date.
In the movie ;The Net', Sanda Bullock used this as a social outlet. It seemed so depressing .
There have been a lot in the news about isolation in the electronic age. I remember when you could keep up with the latest in technology. Now it is obsolete befoe you even knew it was available.
I wish I lived back in the 1960's before the invention of the PC. THOSE were the good old days.
