Hey guys
I just found out about a dating site which is called hornymatches.com
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about that site. I browsed a few profiles and they seem to be genuine... For example, I come from a french speaking province and some profiles are even in french. The pictures are also not those of porn stars (they seem amateur)! I sent a few winks and got replies But it's quite expensive and I don't want to subscribe to another scam like sexsearch....!

Check the reports at ripoffreport.com. Their bots are good at geolocation, so they can find fake photos to attach to fake profiles to trick you into signing up by having phony "gold members" send you winks, but once they have your money, the chances of those profiles responding (usually gorgeous women) is somewhere in the vicinity of the Montreal Canadiens being able to skate on the ice in Satan's arena (and I don't mean the Red Wings' stadium in Detroit).

We set up a profile(lesbian 30yr old from nz) and watched the replies fly in.( mostly men)they had trouble reading).
A few replies from women, hard too match pictures too profiles, body size, race etc.
Had a lot of replies from men pretending to be women. Try sending a wink to a gold member who is off line and see how fast they send you a wink back even though they aren't on line.

.....I think, its a site......where a lot of the girls are not even where they say their from, before you sign up ! They lure you in & get people to pay for services. I got more action (and Im definately not a person who gets it ALL the time....but do ok) from three non-sex dating sites. I give them a HORRIBLE REVIEW !!!!!!

Don't bother. they ripped me off. fine looking women email you till you pay, then they don't respond. the women are really the webmaster sending you fake emails to get you to pay. i cancelled after the 1st month. didn't worry much about them illegally charging my card because i knew i could dispute the charge with my bank.

This website is a ripoff. It is intended to get money from desperate people in situations where they can't meet any one else. It's expensive and the people on there are not who they say they are. DO NOT give out personal information, it is being misused. This website and others like it are the destruction of people who honestly want to meet someone. If you check it out long enough you will find that the same pictures show up on different profiles. Its all a way to play on people and take thier money. Everyone gets desperate sometimes and this is a site that preys on those who do. BEWARE!!!!

To follow up, so far it does appear to be a load of b.s. I've been messaged by VERY convincing females - they mention something in my profile, are from the same location as me, and their profiles make sense. They ask if im interested in them, and ask me to message them. Since standard (free) members can't reply, I 'wink' at them, which basically means im interested. They dont reply back, they are waiting for you to beome a member and reply back.
This doesn't make sense. If they were REALLY interested, AND they know that you are a standard member who can't message them, they would message you their Instant message screen name, some email where they can be reached, etc. They don't do this. This basically means that they aren't interested in you, truly. They are just some fake profile run by the site to try and hook you in.
Having said that, a really tell tale sign that most of the profiles are fake are that there are personality questionnaires you can fill out. 99% of the people have them left blank. This doesn't make sense. A paying member would definitely fill this stuff out.
Also, many of the standard members appear to be fake as well, for the same reason. They just seem to be there to make it seem like more people might actually join.
I've seen maybe one or three profiles in my area of women that seem real. They have all their interests filled out, etc. This is such a poor database it's not worth it. It might be worth it if you are a girl, because I'm assuming that WAY more of the men members are real, because they are more likely to get suckered in and pay.
All in all, maybe its not a horrible idea to make a standard, non-paying page on this place, just in case there is a miracle and a paying female member sees your page and sends you some contact information. But paying for it would be idiotic.

Horny matches is a scam, myself and 2 friends fell for it, got no responses at all. Its a total waste of time and i had more responses on other sites in a week than 6 months on HM. Dont fall for it like i did!!!!!!!!!

I joined horny matches as a standard member about 18 months ago just to see what it was like - I have had no problems - if someone who is a paid up member is interested in your profile they'll send you their contact details in a message so you don't have to use the site.
I have found a lot of men don't fill in any of the personal details and their intro is either full of b/s or just says something like shag me... and if this is the case I don't reply to them...some of them are creepy and but more of them seem to take it way too seriously.
I guess it's different for female members because as another post mentioned men are more likely to pay for the service but I haven't and I've met a couple of nice guys...one has become a friend and did let it slip that (other than me) the women he met from the site were either married, or psychos or both!!
Don't use something like this expecting to find love or a relationship as you're just setting yourself up for disappointment

I got emails from several women then joined and got nothing, most won't respond to a personal email address that way they can keep you as paying members. If you look in the search for your area you will see that the same women are on 24 hours a day 7 days a week for months. I would think at some point they would have to sleep or at least have a crap.
This site is nothing but a scam there are real people but very few and they don't show up in your searches, if you search you will see the people that wanted to meet you or sent winks are never online anymore but always show their last visit is today.
I emailed them saying what a scam it was and it was fraud of coarse they said they have millions of happy members, yea right the ones they made up, look at the photo and the age you have 60 year old womans photo with and her age says 29 never mind that go looking and you will see they have pictures of men that have a womans profile. These people make up all the ladies profiles with images stolen off the net some I have seen used for advertising, if you pay these people twice for the membership you should slap yourself up the side of the head and smell the coffee.

I have not had any probs with this site other than the usual things you find at all of them. Fake ads, fake winks, fake profiles. But come on, they got like 30 million profiles worldwide, that's a lot of profiles to fake. I don't think it's the best site for serious long term relationships, and I keep my expectations low, if I get a woman or two interested in dirty talk via email, I'll take it. However, like the one woman mentioned bout guys pretending to be women replying to her lesbian ad, I ran into gay guys pretending to be straight women, I've wisened up now. I tested it, I attempted to post a pic giving the world the bird and it was rejected on account of being offensive (my private parts in all their glory are not offensive, go figure).
While this thread is on the subject of scams, stay clear of Fling. They make you submit your drivers license photo in order to verify the rest of your photos, or something like that. I have nothing to hide, but it didn't sit well with me. My drivers license is my personal business and not something I want floating around the internet.

I have hooked up with one female from the site, but honestly it is a total waste of money and a scam in a lot of ways. You're better off trying plenty of fish dot com, there are a lot of women on there secretly looking for sex. It was ironic that I received more messages as a non-paying member than I did as a paying one. Those winks and messages are mostly fake and merely a way to lure you into buying a membership.

My membership with Hornymatches.com just expired and I must say, I am glad. In the 1 month that I was a member, I only met 5 legitimate women. I sent out somewhere in the area of 100 winks and 50 e-mails just to see what happened. The next thing I knew, I was getting winks from women that looked like they had no need to be on any dating site (these women were hot). So I would send them an email and not here back from any of them. In that month I also found out that there were a lot of he/she's on the site posing as women. I in fact met 1 face to face and he still would not admit he was a guy even after I confronted him on it. I would not waste my money on this site again and I am still kicking myself for doing it the first time. If you use the site, good luck! I would rather go to a laundrymat and try my luck there than to go back to HM.

Don't bother. I've been watching this site for over a year now. I paid for the first month. As with so many others posting on this thread I was made to believe there were many women interested in my profile, but quickly disappeared after I paid. A year later they are still listed as looking and they are always listed as "last logged in today". This is mostly a fake deal. I monitored site activities when I was in Europe on biz and found that an extraordinary number of people within 50 miles of my US zip were listed as on-line when it was between 2:30 and 4:30 am in the US! FAKE!! The odds of finding a real woman on this site is worse than finding a damsel in distress in the Arizona desert. Look elsewhere.

It's a scam. You get replies from hot girls who email you and say things like: What are your interests? When they know you can't reply because you haven't paid the monhly fee. They don't include their email address. It's a complete scam to get you to pay money. Once you pay it you never hear from any of them again. Logically, what would a young hot girl of say 18-22 want with an old guy . other than money. So guys if you are that desperate you best go find a hooker than waste your time looking at girls on HM. They don't exist. I have been a memeber for 18 months, and have not come across one genuine profile. If you say in your own profile anything about your contact details outside of HM they mail you back abd saythey dont allow it for your own safety. More like the safety of their pockets.

i actually had luck on this site and i didnt pay a dime. i sent a few winks, and one girl responded with her contact info. but after that connection nothing, only winks back but no info. i still dont feel its worth dropping the coin if half of the profiles are fake.

Total ripoff. I'm in Las Vegas, and I did a search of women within 10 miles of my zip code. What do you know, every hit was Elko or somewhere else in the north part of Nevada. Not one in Vegas? Give me a break! Also, I made my profile very time and money oriented, hinting that I wanted to pay for a quick encounter. The replies I got back were nothing like it, they were generic responses like "I see from your profile that we have a lot in common." Also, every day for a week I did the same search, and I got exactly the same results every time. No new members? Nobody left? I believe it's all an automated system, with 1 programmer behind it. The only good thing is that I sent an email saying I knew it was a ripoff and I wanted my money back, and my money was credited back to my card the next day.

Having spent two evenings looking over this website, I can guarantee anyone that the majority of it is fake. Like most guys, I've spent a generous share of my time on similar sites, so I'm very familiar with the general distribution of ladies- both in nearby areas as well as my state in in general. All one has to do is LOOK at the locations listed by the ladies on this site. I've never seen so many ladies from oddball locations in my life. The site has obviously put plenty of work into their automated coding for piquing your interest, but they've fallen short on the weighting given to 'where' to place these fake people.
Guys, accept the fact that all the hot 23-year olds that are burning for us 40+ guys....are NOT crawling out of the woodwork in cities with a population of 75! Goodness knows we'd ALL like to be appreciated by younger ladies, but we all know this site doesn't pass the sniff-test. When a 41-year old guy signs on with a 2-line profile asking for an NSA encounter and NO picture, ANY beautiful 25-year old lady that jumps at that immediately- is either fake or frightening. ESPECIALLY when her profile mentions nothing about preferring older guys!!! I got 4 on my first evening there.

I can tell you of my experience. First I joined for free and got messgaes and invitations. I could not reply to the messages as I was not a paying member. So I paid the membership. I sent replies to thoise who had been sending me messages and had no responses. Also after I joined the messages and invitations I had been receiving stopped. I think its a scam but thats what i think, I can only warn you you may waste your money for nothing.

I've actually met some wonderful women from this site.You do have to weed out the fake ones,like the young "lesbian couple" form texas or california.The admin's seem to be pretty quick in getting rid of them.There are a lot of fake profiles like every other site but after a while you can figure out which ones are real and which ones are not.Here's a tip guys...You're probably better off not using a picture of your "wood" as a primary photo.Surprisingly,this is a turnoff to a lot of women,even on HM.Make your description honest too.

I was a sucker and bought a Gold membership to them after I received several winks and emails I could not reply to as a standard member. Now, I don't get any more winks or emails and my replies to the emails I got go unanswered. They got my money so no need to tempt me any more. I suspect the "heat" will be turned up when my expiration date approaches. I sent the following message to their customer service. I don't expect an answer.
"I should have read all the negative reviews of your site on this forum here before I joined. I am a dope and fell victim to your scam. I want my membership cancelled; I know you won't give me a refund, but I don't want to be prompted to renew after my 4-month membership expires. I got this reply within minutes. Maybe they get so many messages like mine that they have an automated reply message? The message didn't refute my assertion that they are a scam, so they must agree to that.

Their bots are good at geolocation, so they can find fake photos to attach to fake profiles to trick you into signing up by having phony "gold members" send you winks, but once they have your money, the chances of those profiles responding (usually gorgeous women) is somewhere in the vicinity of the Montreal Canadiens being able to skate on the ice in Satan's arena (and I don't mean the Red Wings' stadium in Detroit).

Listen most of the ads on craigslist for casual encounters are there for you to reply and then you will get nothing more than a link to sing up to to view their pics and info which is bogus. They try to get you to sign up for what ever membership and then you get soaked. Not only will you get a allot more spam in your mail box but you have also given your credit card details to unscrupulous people who put these many sites together just to get your cash. Remember that most of all casual encounter ads on craigslist for women for men are spam posts Don't be stupid or fooled. Also look at the posting dates and times. If you see a post that was posted from 12 midnight to the wee hours of the morning these are bot posts. No one in their right mind posts at 3;55 in the morning. Get wise to it!

To be honest, i worked for horny matches as a typist more than to years! i was paid to reply messages, so most of the profiles and messages are totally fake. It was very funny to see how the people really believed that they were talking to sexy girls! lol!

Just that assuming Standard Women with no pics,,,are normally real, it is impossible for those standard users to contact each other. which also means there is no way for a real person to contact another real person on that site unless on of them paid.

I got a msg from a girl who sent to me to my HM inbox giving me her hotmail. Then i replied her using my hotmail.

Besides this, I also got messages sent to my inbox at HM asking if I am interested (they are gold member) and asked me to reply them on that site. the same thing that happened to other people who mentioned here before.

I send a message to both of them. i got reply from one of the them. I expected a girl calling back but i got a guy calling me instead, saying HELLO in a rather harsh way. probably moderator of HM.
Lol I just sent a wink to a girl who is at the states now, i suppose. it is freaking 5am at the states now. She replied me a wink at 5am. Well that is possible but still a little unbelievable to be true.

Here is the tricky part. We're together in the same room with my partner and online using my computer. I login to HM using my account, sent winks, messages (i can send because i pay for Gold membership and it's the promised feature), and add her user ID to my HotList. I then logout and she login with her account. She received my wink, and my HotList, but not my message. Then, she sent the same thing (wink, message and HotList) to my account. Same thing, I receive all but the messages. Curious, we repeat sending messages for few more times, and none received by both of us.
Emailed the HM support team and got the following reply:

They employ people to manage several profiles so it looks as if those unique profiles have been active. If u have guest membership and get any response it's because and to trick you into paying money to "upgrade" in order to communicate with other users.

You guys HM is not totally fake... I have been on there for 1 year now.. I have met and slept we 2 nice looking gals off there... I was married and one single... Unfortumately I did reply to some of these and was subsequently innundated with spam and tracking cookies. As far as I am concerned the complete HM site is geared towards getting people to upgrade their membership status ( at a cost, of course). I joined hornymatches.com after being a free member for a while, i kept getting mails constently so i went a head and joined out of stupidity thinking that all those mails i couldnt read were legit, right after joining it all stopped. There are a fair number of genuine girls on hornymatches, but there are a lot of joke profiles on there also. I've had quite a lot of interest and joined because of that - BUT - a few days afterwards, my account stopped working properly and I couldn't send or receive any messages (even to a fake profile I set up) and customer support is USELESS. They'll take your money and ignore you if there's a problem.
MaritalAffair has much better service, but I've had a lot less interest on that site and I'm no slouch! There's a lot more competition on that one and it's more expensive.

This site is a complete fake. If you waste your time joining you'll get tons of emails as a standard member but you cant respond. As soon as you upgrade to Gold, wouldn't ya know it, not only will no one respond to your emails but all the fake profiles that had emailed you suddenly go silent. This is total scam. I replied to four of them, because they are standard users which can't reply back, so in my reply I left my Email address for them to get a hold of me. Nothing in a week. I really think that some people are on the other end sending out pictures with sayings of "like to chat" or something to that effect and you get no reply. Don't fall for the membership!

Although I didn't pay the money, I never do pay to a dating web as I know there are lots of scams. The website did let me join it without paying any subscription. I got lot of winks and e-mails from guys and I just replayed to a one of them that it looked genuine, I could email him without paying nothing, we were emailing each other for about one month maybe more, and he explained me a lot of personal staff, and when I said ok let’s have a date is when I couldn’t go ahead, I tried to email him again and then I was redirected to the page where you need to upgrade your account…. So there you go… If the guy was real they read the e-mails but I suppose they just have people emailing to everyone…

Of course after I paid I got no responses and NONE of the people that were initially "Interested" ever responded.
