I’ve been using this platform for quite a while now, and I realized it’s finally time to sit down and write a proper review.

I’m in my early 50s, and a few years ago, my life changed a lot. My kids grew up and moved away, my wife left, and the house that used to be full of noise suddenly became painfully quiet. At first, I thought I could handle it, but the silence got heavier with time. Weekends were the worst- just too much empty time and no one to share it with.

That’s when I decided to give this platform a try. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but even the simplest chats felt like a breath of fresh air. Having someone ask how my day was, share a laugh about an old movie, or just talk about life made me feel human again. Over time, I’ve built a few real connections here, and those conversations have become a part of my daily routine.

It’s not perfect- sometimes the chat is a bit slow, and it’s definitely not cheap. But when I think about the joy, companionship, and the sense of being alive again, it’s been worth it.

If you’re hesitating, my advice is simple: give it a try. For me, this hasn’t just been a website- it’s been a way back to feeling like myself again

Oh, I totally get you! I’ve had the same issue sometimes things can get a bit slow, especially when you’re waiting for a reply. But I’ve reached out to support a couple of times and they’ve always been super helpful, if something’s acting up, they’ll sort it out.

I’ve only had a few chats here, but I’ve tried a lot of platforms for connecting with people and Datinglagoon is a good platform. There’s just something about how natural conversations feel here. For someone in their 50s like me it’s been a great way to stay connected and feel human again Big Grin

I work as an English tutor, so I spend a lot of time talking to people, but it’s always about lessons, grammar, or exams. Useful, yes, but not the same as just having a warm, genuine chat. After finishing work, I’d often realize I hadn’t had a single personal conversation all day.
That’s why I started using this platform. Datinglagoon gave me a space where I could simply be myself not “the teacher,” just a person. It filled a gap I didn’t even realize had gotten so big.
For me, those little moments of real connection are what make this platform special!!

I’ll be honest, what keeps me here is the little routine it’s become. I pour myself a cup of tea in the evening, sit by the window, and check my messages on Datinglagoon. It’s like a calm ritual now - one that makes the house feel less empty

Really appreciated reading this. A lot of people don’t talk openly about how difficult that transition can be when life suddenly gets quieter.

I had a somewhat similar experience after spending way too much time bouncing between platforms that felt empty or full of fake profiles. What helped me was finding communities and review sites where real users shared honest experiences first. I actually found a few better platforms through SpicyRanked, which saved me a lot of time and frustration.

Glad you found something that brought a little connection and routine back into your life. That part matters more than people think.

My honest experience is that it’s a total con €25 used up in only a few minutes coz it’s not really clear what you are spending and I literally only had a few chats…plus look at all the messages you get from men much younger when you actually put in an age say 45-70 and you get young kids asking stupid questions ….even the mature men sound like they’re selling a dream outbid a fiction book …they’re all very similar l🩷and if you ask them to contact you directly ….well that’s never gonna happen so someone please explain to me how this site works ….for me it’s just a very clever ploy to take peoples money for actually no outcome whatsoever …..if the men that respond to you are actually real of course

I agree 100%. One man who claimed to be both a pilot and psychologist. The credits can eat your lunch financially!
