Security is essential, especially when it comes to online dating as not many people want to give their phone number out to some stranger or for your friends and family to see that your phone number is linked with a Tinder account! That's why I think it is best to use Tinder without a phone number.
To accomplish this, you can either with logging in using a profile on Google or Facebook.

Can't you also just get another phone number just for online dating? You can just get a free Google Voice (voice over IP) phone number and just use that.
