Has anyone had any experience with AirBnB?
I might be late to the party but have heard about it for a number of years but hadn't had a chance to try it out. I am trying to find an affordable hotel for my son and I to take a break at Easter. Now, having found it, I have gone hog wild and want to book both a summer getaway and another break for end of October.
Trouble is, it is payment upfront only and I am a little worried that Covid-19 will still be around. I don't want to feel buyer's remorse. Should I just cross my fingers and book the places and look forward to a change of scenery? (or just wait 😥)
Any AirBnB guests or hosts here that have tales to tell?

I've not used it myself but I know a lot of people who have and most highly rated it. It all depends on what your expectations are. Remember this is someone's home and not an actual hotel.
Of course at the moment your not suppose to travel anywhere due to the Coronavirus. I wouldn't make any bookings as who knows how long this well last and even if any of us will have jobs when it is over.

I have used AirBnB once and it was a wonderful experience. Me and my gf went on a trip to Cecilia and booked a cottage with a pool. We spent there 2 weeks and "charged our batteries" full, drank a lot of wine, swam in the pool and in the sea, and spent a great time at night in a huge bed.
