I clicked singles50 app & was directed to registration, so.. after filling the form, I was directed to upload my photo, which I did.. then, it shows a bestseller 24wks /$12.88, which I clicked, thinking I got a good deal of it, on 28th Feb 2020.. then, I was directed to another page with credit card form, after I entered all the details, wahlahh.. I was back to the front page with congratulations as what customer service Betty said..
It didn't show the amount of $$12.88 ; so.. I just continue flipping all the members profiles, at a later time.. when I wanted to check my account, i realised that I was deducted of $309.12, which I didn't agreed of..
Immediately I called my bank to stop the payment as I didn't receive any otp for this transaction but OCBC said, they will investigate but nothing comes out, again I was in a big surprise that I was cheated of $309.12 & my bank can't do anything to stop it.
I wrote in, to OCBC.. they advice me to make a police report & to send them, all the copies, pertaining to Singles50, which I did, too.
I wrote in, to Singles50 customer service & their replies, they cant refund as the amount was shown b4 the credit card page, which I didn't see at all, if I see the amount, I wouldn't agree with that $309.12, which idiot will want to sign up!!!!
Plz be wary & alert, dear friends..
Most of the photos & profiles doesn't belong to the one, u are chatting with..
They don't even have balls in meeting up, they gave so much excuses.
Most of the photos are fake, which I dont seem to know, where these scammers got it from..
I chat with some of the scammers themselves, I juz want to see.. whats their plan, I tried to report to some friends in SPF, they don't seem to be interested in me, sharing about these scammers!!
So, I am doing my own investigation, which I came across that this Singles50 app, own by few people in Singapore & they are not our local.
Plz share your loss, hopefully police & banks, will look into these seriously & not to ignore us.

Jen, will be good if you send your cancellation email to them & get an official reply (14days before due). Because the next step, they will do an automatic renewal once your "contract" is due for next payment. Failure for the payment, they will send you email with fiancial charges. If you dont pay by due date, they will pass the case to debt collector & start sending all the lawyer letters to make you pay. They claimed this *censored* is a binding document which is legal.
Not sure if anyone out there have debt collector or receiving legal letters?
This app is one freaking scam.

debt collecors have little power without a court case to proove the debt .an enforcement order must be obtained first ,otherwise any fraudsters could force a false claim against any body

Thanks Ted. Sad to say, am one of the victims. They claimed that by agreeing to the terms & conditions online, they can also proceed to pursue us in a legal way which I felt trapped in this situation

This dating site is a scam. They are misleading & cheated by means of taking alot more of your money than the stated amount. The minute you completed keying in your credit card details , they had taken stolen your money.
They are uncontactable and you are unable to unsubscribe to this scam site.
Unfortunately alot of unsuspecting people got cheated.

Singels50 - it is a scam, fake profiles and they take the money, even if you try and cancel. I cancelled my credit card to prevent them taking more money. What a hassle but the only way to stop the scam and losing more $.
Please be wary of this site.

I joined singles50, its rubbish, just a hoax.
I thought i was the only person who felt this way, but seems a lot of people (M & F) feel the same.
I cancelled my credit card after the bank told me they could not block future payments.
I did get a threatening email from a collector - ignored, a few more threats then never heard anything.
I am in Sydney, most matches were fake or in Melbourne or Adelaide or Brisbane and also probably fake. Even had several from Tasmania, like seriously who at our age is going to pack up and travel halfway across Australia!
]Stay away from this site it is bad news, you will waste time and money!!!
Now I am getting angry thinking about my experience on this site, sadly i am not alone!!!!

Just fake profiles.
Once you join its impossible to cancel. people should be very wary of this platform.
STAY OFF THIS SITE - Singles50 is RUBBISH and FAKE
They keep trying to take money from the card, months after the period finishes, so hard to get money back, actually impossible becuase they are based overseas.
Watch out for thretening and demanding letters.
VERY BAD NEWS

Dear all,
Please be aware. This is totally a SCAM website. Once signed up, you can't quit from it and it keep deducting monthly subscription from your credit card. The amount is also much higher than what is shared with you during sign-up. Hope someone is able to shut the website down!
