Match.com will absolutely unhide your profile WITHOUT consent. I hadn't logged into my match.com account for 2 years and suddenly started getting the "he noticed you" emails. Want to know the scary thing about it? I had just private messaged a friend on Facebook mentioning "match.com" and within the hour started getting spammed with countless match.com emails. I hadn't so much as thought about the site and then the moment I type it in a message to a friend, I suddenly start getting emails and my old profile is unhidden? Yeah...definitely fishy and unethical as anything I've ever seen before. I had to log into my account to deactivate again. (I had already done that years ago)
