I was just curious, what's some good tips for writing an introduction email to someone tp whom you'd like to get to know on a dating site? I've been on a few sites and wrote to quite a few people but I haven't been getting many replys at all, am I doing something wrong?
I find my messages tend to be long. Is this the way to go or are shorter messages better?

I find initial contact is best with a fairly short message. State what prompted you to write to them (what you liked in there profile) and say something witty or ask a question to get them to write back to you. Once someone has initiated contact the other person usually wants to view your profile and pictures before responding. Hope this helps....
