Forum Subject: Is Grindr the best dating app for gay men?

I am trying to figure out if it is worth me joining Grindr? I have used POF and Tinder but haven't had much luck on them lately. I am in my forties and am not considered part of the young crowd anymore even though I keep in shape and look younger than I am.

Someone recently told me about Grindr and said it is more like a social network and a dating site all rolled into one.

I will probably give it a shot this weekend and I will report back my findings if no one else responds.
