Forum Subject: Does AYI send out fake messages from old/closed user accounts?

I've heard that some dating sites will send out messages or "likes" from an old, dormant, or closed account to either get that person to sign in (which reactivates the account) or to keep others interested in staying with that site. I'm asking because it's happening to someone in my family and I know for a FACT that they have not been active on the "AYI" site since 2011 and yet just recently got a few email notifications about "liking" some pictures/profiles on the site!! I also know that they deactivated their account multiple times, but can still be found on the site! Can someone please help us to figure out how to PERMANENTLY DEACTIVATE, DISABLE, OR OTHERWISE ERASE MY FAMILY MEMBERS "AYI" ACCOUNT?

I believe they do.
I requested to delete my profile photos before deactivate the account, they refused my request!
AYI ( FirstMet)'s service is so lousy!

Their link to cancel auto-renewal charge is also fake, it links to irrelevant pages.

As soon as the payment is made, there is no way to cancel unless go through the phone line. If it is lucky enough somebody finally pick up the phone, and cancellation is not valid unless a mailing document is received within three days from the first second payment is made.

It takes 3 hours to get connected, only one voice pick up the phone – she is the boss. If she is not happy with your issue, she simply hangs up and nobody picks up anymore.
