Why POF S U C K S

There are both low quality men and women on POF. As an older woman, I have seen how some of the women looked because the site had a feature on it that would let you see pictures of both genders, for the purpose of helping the site eliminate pictures that violated its rules. There are men and women who think that they are all that, and their perception is not received by others. Having said that, as an older woman I shake my head at the very unattractive way quite a few older men present themselves: hair on the head and facial hair ungroomed, wrinkled tee shirts, clothing that seemed to have been bought from the thrift store in 1972, unbecoming eyeglasses. Photos show rooms or backgrounds that look like the person is struggling to live. I could go on and on. People have a right to be picky according to what their standard of beauty and preference is. Those people, both men and women who levy the picky slur, should ask those who rejected you why they did, if you have the guts to do so. I have had to tell men explicitly, who refused to accept a soft rejection, why I would not be interested in them. Lastly, everyone should post at least 1-2 current photos, and update as needed, so that when you show up on a date or meet and greet, it does not appear that you have done a bait and switch.
