Why POF S U C K S

I'm 72 and I have been trying POF on and off for the last month. I still get the eye from attractive women, average ages fifties, once in awhile when I am at work functions or at some grocery stores. The aging process has been kind to me and I work out.

I got about a hundred of those somebody wants to meet you messages, and about 20 women messaged me. Out of the 100 meet yous and the 20 messages only one woman was attractive. I messaged her and she responded with one word messages, except for one lackluster, five word sentence. She was either disinterested or boring. I must have messaged about a dozen women I found attractive. Maybe 2 responded to me with the one word replies, if I was lucky maybe a sentence. Nothing came of it.

Forgot to mention, I was like a rock star with the scammers. Beautiful women to die for in their twenties with bangin' bodies and profiles that said they were in their 70s lusted after me repeatedly. "Hello handsome," they said. "Let's talk on Skype. Here's my phone number text me." It was all good until I blew it and told them about how I used to turn scammers into the Attorney General's office. After that I could see that no way was I going to get lucky.

One blonde messaged me and she was attractive. But after 3 messages back and forth it didn't go anywhere, and I could see we were incompatible. One thing that bothered me about her. She described herself as curvy and had no full body photos in her profile.

That reminds me of another thing to watch out for. I know from years ago when I tried a dating site and had more success, women often looked nothing like their photos. The profile photos looked 15 years or more younger, and it was shocking when you saw the difference. It also made for a lousy first date when you wanted to get out of the date pronto.

I have come to the conclusion POF really does suck. It is seductive because it takes less effort to sit at you computer and post stuff than to get out and go places where you can meet women face to face. I now believe if someone put the time they waste on POF in trying to meet women in the real world, they'd have a far better chance of meeting women.

That said, it takes a lot of effort and a willingness to risk face to face rejections. You have to figure out what places are best to meet women. And if you don't already know how to start conversations with women you just meet, you have to acquire those skills. Google could help find the ways and means. :-)

There's no comparison to meeting a woman face to face. Just a lingering look in your direction can start your pulse racing. Way better than looking at a profile with outdated photos and women who still won't respond to your polite and carefully worded message.

But, if you get fed up with all this chasing women stuff, there's always MGTOW.
