Don't waste your money is true...

They have a choice of friendship or pen pal (1930's anyone?). There is NO ONE looking for friendship OR pen pals on this site. It is the worst cyber singles bar you can imagine. At least at a singles bar you can actually see the people! There are people on there with the identical profiles using a different name/picture/username for EACH one. That is downright scary. Once you weed through loser after loser and choose to contact someone...you immediately find out WHY they are single. Rude is about the best you can say. I did see my married neighbor on there. He's a nice guy. LOL Hope his wife likes you!

However some of the postings here are inaccurate. If they were familiar with internet sites they would know that a search has a drop down menu and you can put in search words to narrow your search. If you don't know how to use a site, learn or stick to Craigslist and don't make inaccurate negative reviews.
