It's Just Lunch partnered with American Way In Flight Magazine to poll airline passengers about dating. One of the first question they asked passengers is, how long does it take them to decide on the first date whether they will go on a second date with the person?
It's Just lunch also found that the younger you are, the more impatient you most likely will be. 20 percent of singles aged 21 to 39 decided in 5 minutes if they would date a person again, this is 4 percent higher than the average for all age groups. Similarly, 33 percent of singles aged 40 to 49 would take more than 1 hour to decide. On average 22 percent of all age groups took 1 hour.
It's Just Lunch also asked passengers how many dates they go out on in a given year. On average the single respondents said:
On a final note. If you are single and chat up someone next to you who is also single, there is a 25 percent chance that he or she may be interested in dating you.
