In August FriendFinder Networks announced their financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2011. Gross profit for the second quarter was $58.3 million which is an increase of 3.4 percent when compared to the same quarter last year. Income when compared with the same timeline increased 15.2 percent to $18 million. FFN did report a net loss for quarter 2 though of $11.9 million. This loss was due to paying down existing debt and $5 million paid out for a settlement.
Average subscribers for quarter 2, 2011 was 911,560. This is a decrease of 11.1 percent when compared to quarter 2, 2010 which had 1,025,457 subscribers. Average Lifetime Net Revenue per Subscriber did increased this period though by 10.6 percent to $82.55.
