I was just thinking last week about the dating site, Engage. I was wondering what had happened to this dating site which was in the news a fair bit, back in 2006. Engage twist to online dating was to allow members to do the matching for other Engage members.
The funny thing is, this morning I was reading the Online Dating Inside blog[*1] and found out it had been purchased recently, by of all dating companies, Spark Networks. The New York Times reported in January of 2008 that Spark Networks is for sale itself (see Story).
Spark Networks other popular dating sites include JDate, BlackSingles.com and AmericanSingles.com.
