I got an email from someone tonight complaining about how Be2.com makes you jump through hoops to cancel a membership. Apparently you need to request cancellation of their services via fax. And the fax must contain the following information:
Plus you need to sign the document. A lot of dating sites enable auto renewals of memberships by default but most allow you to change this in the account settings of the website when you sign in. I did a little digging to see if the same is true for Be2. I read Be2.com's General Terms and Conditions from October 13, 2008 (the latest on the site) and Section 3.3 states:
... The termination must be requested using the respective link in “Settings” in “Premium Membership”, if available, or by facsimile ...
I like how they add if available. What does this mean, is the link not always there? It is this type of dating site that will give online dating a bad name.
