HurryDate is first and foremost a speed dating service. It is a place for interested singles to go and find speed dating events and parties being held near them or, to participate in online virtual speed dating.
HurryDate Online makes it easy to RSVP to these events and to stay in contact with party goers with whom you have met up with at previous events. Using this speed dating sites RSVP system is the only way to guarantee your
spot in an event/party as HurryDate needs to make sure all dating events have the required number and gender balance of speed daters. You can use HurryDate as a traditional dating site to search and find matches
in your area but this is not it's prime function.
HurryDate offers speed dating events in close to 100 cities across the United States and Canada. Your average speed dating event sponsored through HurryDate has about 10 to 15 participating singles.
Depending on the party, each short date can be between four and six minutes long. Speed dating parties require an equal number of men and women, and usually have a set age range. Some events may also be
designed for a specific dating niche like Christian or Jewish singles. After each date at the party, you'll discreetly circle a "yes" or "no" next to each person's ID number on your score card to
indicate if you want to be in touch. At the end of the night, you'll take your score card home to enter who you liked into the HurryDate online system. They will then match you up with who is interested
in you too. From there, it's up to you to get in touch through HurryDate's mail message system to set up a real date.
If this is your first speed dating event or if you have questions, do not worry. Before the event starts your host will explain how HurryDate works and will answer any questions you may have.

- When signing up for an event the following information will be available.
- The date of the speed dating event.
- Who? - Genders and age range of participants invited. The age range is usually a 10 year span. Events can also be tailored to specific niches like Jewish singles.
- What? - Type of event, the estimated number of participants and the length of each date.
- Where? - Name of the venue and the location. This information is posted at least one week before the event.
- When? - The Check-in time of the event and the start time of the event.
- What Else? - Other information like the cost of drinks or food (if there are discounts) and if anything is planned after the event.
- How Much? - Cost of the event for non-members and members of HurryDate.
- Events may be cancelled depending on attendance or other unseen circumstances (weather, gender imbalance). If this happens you will receive a full refund.
- You are allowed to reschedule your speed dating reservation if your request is made on or prior to five business days before the event you are registered to attend. If less than 5 days then a change fee of $5 USD may apply.
