As of mid October DownToEarth.com has been relaunched as Stir.com (see Story). This relaunched has changed the focus of the website from dating to more of a site for making new friends and finding clubs, events and concerts you may be interested in.

I have decided to leave DownToEarth in the poll so I would not nullify any previous votes.

At first look,I found match.com dating site very interesting and with a lot of opportunites,but on second day of my 72 hr free membership trial I got suprise.I couldn't log in,and site redirect me to resolution@support.match.com,which isn't exsist and not possible to find anywhere.So after my unsuccessful attempts to log in to match.com and to find help,I called customer service phone number posted on this web-site.Customer representative took my username and other info,and told me he can't help,and I need to seek help from resolution@support.match.com.I informed him that this help doesn't exsist and I not able to find it anywhere.To make my story short,no solution was found.After searching customer reviews on-line,I found that I'm not alone.Many members have the same problem,and its usualy happens during free trial.Its leaving you without promissed service,credit card charges,stress,and absent ability to log in and cancel yours membership.You don't have any choice as to call your credit company and change your card,and put unlawful match.com charges for a dispute.This dating web-site promissed not to charge your credit card until 72 hr free trial ends,but in reallity they do,which I found after conversation with my credit card company.Something very stinky with match.com,and I would recommend everybody to think twice before giving them your credit card number or checking account.

New here and browsing sites I saw POF as the best free site. I agree, but there's a great site not listed that's free to join and gives a lot more options than most pay sites. www.sexyads.com it's a pay site but worth every penny. I've joined a lot of dating sites inviting you to join for free, but then you can't really do or say anything without being redirected to their pay now page. I was happy to hunt for the pay now page on sexy ads because they are like a family of people who are a lot more honest than all the other sites combined. You can read forums and blogs there as well as seeing your friends nude if you want for free. Also, since they're based in New Zealand they have a lot of folks from all over the world that honestly wouldn't join other sites. Check it out, you'll be excited to join NOW.
