Ive been on dating sites for over two years now! At first I didnt get any responses at all! Then, I realized it's because my profile and pics sucked. I sorted that out and got some dates on POF, but the response rate was awful thoughout!... and also have to admit, none of the dates took my fancy and I wasnt happy with security of pof, so I gave up on that. By sharp contrast okcupid, for me, is very easy to get responses and even first messages to me from girls... girls I actualy find attractive sometimes!! But, the down side is they are way more flaky than pof girls.. their messages suddenly stop. One even suggested meeting, and when I said yes she stopped replying! I've been on cupid a long while now, even swapped numbers with some girls for them to stop replying! Normally the ones who contact me first are honestly not my type... and to be fair, it would be wrong of me to date them, because I dont feel attracted to them, really. If I message a bunch of women I'll get 1 or 2 replies, which makes things interesting and keeps up the possibility I'll meet someone. The site suffers from a lack of potential matches though and it could really do with an 'avoid this area' command, because I dont want to travel to london to meet girls, but if i increase my distance it puts lots of girls from london in there! So, I have to change my location and search a small radius!!! Also, the app kind of sucks! If you're listening cupid PLEASE, PLEASE sort out the fact that if I browse a women's profile in the long list of matches that comes up from a search, then the back button will take me out of the profile and to the same place down the list of matches I have previously got to! Please dont make me scroll though 20-30 (... only if I search miles and miles!) matches to find the one single point I had got to..!

Now, its got lots of good things going for it. In terms of interface its the best of the best. Its free. I like the tests and stuff. It just lacks serving, for me, the actual point I joined for (to meet women in person!!).
