I was a paid member of Zoosk for 6 months. Never met anyone and had almost zero chats with men. I must have contacted close to 150 members over the 6 month period and maybe communicated with 3 or 4. Someone from the site made an appointment to see me and then stood me up. After I contacted him he explained he showed up and I was not there. I know that many members are free so that is the reason why I had no answer from them. In looking over members pictures some looked like prison convicts others were quite creepy, Then there are members who will look at your profile, once, twice, three times and never contact or wanna chat with you even though they claim they wanna chat. Also, there must have been at least 20 con artists that contacted me, probably from overseas) me giving me a phony story and wanting me to give them money. I am sure the picture and the name posted are quite phony. I find no fault with customer service. Most of the time they were quite helpful. Its the members that are oddball. I would divide the members into four 1) con men/women 2) don't know what they want, 3) creeps and 4) just want to meet for sexual encounter. Now that my paid membership has expired, Zoosk placed me as a free member and I am getting views from the same people who previously viewed my profile. As others have said, online dating is really not the place to meet someone and I totally agree!.
