New, need honest feedback

Hi my name is John and am thinking about trying this site. I have been on the mainstream dating sites for a couple years and have had plenty of dates and a couple of girlfriends that lasted for a few months. In general, I have found the women on these sites to have unrealistic expectations that they will find a man with 100% of the qualities they are looking for and be able to upload him to her iPhone for keeps (lol). I'm 40 and have realized that the criteria you had in your 20's and first part of your 30's were youthfully naive. Relationships take work and sometimes compatibility isn't obvious right away. I am very successful financially and am looking to enjoy the fruits of my labor with someone, i.e. to have fun with starting off (travel, water sports - I have a lake house and boats, nice dinners, romantic evenings, etc.) then see what develops. Is this site worth a try?
