The reviews that I read on POF are very bad. However, on OK Cupid they look to be more flattering. Not sure why this is. I gave both of them a try. Coincidentally with both, I received contacts from ladies quickly after joining and thought this will be fun & productive. Once on for 3 weeks it absolutely dried up with both of them. On both of them I have experienced deceit and the lack of courtesy by many women. I E-mailed back & forth with several, then they stop responding when I suggest if they would like to meet. The reality is that these sites are more populated by men and therefore very average women, let alone the attractive elite, hear from many guys. It pads their ego and makes them feel that they can be so selective if bother to respond at all. As a 60 year old, very fit gentleman, I find I can be in contact with all the medicare age ladies I would care for. However, if they are 55-60, which seems about right for me, it is easier eating soup with a knife or fork.. I have had it with both of these sites but know that I will find someone right for me in some other way.

I have had a similar experience. If anything, OK Cupid has been worse and I removing myself from it today.
The only women i hear from are from China or out of state. I have initiated messaging to various women and for the most part I receive no response or admittedly one response from them that asks me several questions about myself. I have quite a bit going for me and I respond truthfully. Usually i do not get a 2nd response. Unlike real life i think many of these women have found a place where numerous men seem to desire them and that makes their day.
